Fenwick Fiberglass Blanks

There is a 10% restocking fee on returned components.

Bamboo blank sections for 6'6", 2/2 midge rod - We are offering blanks from which you can craft a midge rod. They make very good small stream and beaver pond rods. These blanks were crafted from pre-embargo Tonkin cane.  The butt section is a Wright & McGill mid section and the tip sections are South Bend. Wright & McGill nickel silver ferrules #13 (2 males and 1 female). The tip top size is 5.5. Click on images to see a rod crafted using these blanks and an example of the blanks.  Using Cortland Sylk WF4, this rod will cast 40 feet with little effort. The action is medium fast. The cost of the bamboo blanks is $150, ferrule set is $57. Vintage thread, cork grips, guides, wind check are available and priced according to choice. We are currently out of the South Bend tips for the midge rod blanks. However we do have impregnated (WaterSeal) mid and tip sections which can be crafted into midge rods.

Wright & McGill Bamboo Waterseal Tip Blanks- Genuine Wright & McGill Waterseal tip section. These are new old stock. Un-trimmed they measure 37 1/2 inches. Trimmed and turned for a 9' rod, 36 inch blank the ferrule size is 12/64th. Trimmed for a 8 1/2' rod, 34 1/2 inch blank, the ferrule size is 11/64th . Trimmed for a 8' rod, 32 inch blank, the ferrule size is 11/64th. Price is $150.00

Waterseal butt sections for 7' for a 2/2 rod, wrapped, ferruled, cork hammer grip, burgundy anodized reel seat. Price is $150.  These butt sections are similar to Phillipson's Haywood Zephyr.

Wright & McGill Bamboo Rod Sections - These are for 9'rods only.  Unfinished, un-ferruled butts and mid sections. Price is $50.00 each.

Wrapped, ferruled, finished mid sections for 9' rods $125 each.

Wrapped, ferruled, cork grip handles butt sections (no reel seat). Price is $100 each.

We have more than 50 blanks for Granger Special bait casting rods. These blanks are wrapped, ferruled, and finished. There are no original grips for these rods. We have thousands of grips which will work. Price for butt and tip is $200.

Fiberglass rod blanks - Wright & McGill 1 piece Trevarno (tobacco glass) blanks for fly, bait casting, spinning and boat rods. $25.00 each. Approximately 1900 blanks available for $10,000 for all.  1950's to 1960's fabrication.

Solid Fiberglass ice rod blanks - These blanks are older and were made in the U.S.A.  We have 2 lengths.  (1)  30 inches in length with a tip top is size 6 and the butt diameter is 3/16^th inch. (2)   26 inches in length with a tip top size 6 of and the butt diameter is 3/16th inch.  Price is $2.00 each with a minimum order of 10 blanks or $20.00.  You can mix and match sizes and Fiberglass or Graphite.

Graphite Ice Rod Blanks - Measuring 26 inches in length with a tip top size of 8 and the butt diameter is 3/16th inch. Price is $2.00 each with a minimum order of 10 blanks or $20.00  You can mix and match sizes and Fiberglass or Graphite.

Cork - Full Wells cork measuring 7 inches long, 3/8 inch ID. Priced at $8.95 each.. 

Cork rings - Select grade cork rings with 1 1/4 inch diameter, 1/2 inch thick, and with 7/16th inch bore.($0.49 each, click here for an image and volume discount pricing)
