His and Her Rods

For that special anniversary, birthday, Valentine's Day, engagement present, retirement gift, customer appreciation gift, etc.  We are pleased to offer a one of a kind pair of bamboo fly rods crafted by Rolf Baginski and his partner Jutta Pape. Jutta is one of the very few female bamboo rod builders in the world. Rolf crafted a gentleman's 7 foot, 3 piece, 2 tip, 4 weight fly rod.  Jutta crafted a lady's 6 foot 6 inch, 3 piece, 2 tip, 3 or 4 weight fly rod. Rolf has crafted more than 1000 bamboo rods over the past 23 years. Jutta has spent several years apprenticing with Rolf and has crafted several rods during that time. The rods feature gold plated nickel silver hardware and includes a custom carrying case..  The blanks are dark flamed and the reel seats inserts are rare amboina wood. This unique pair of rods is priced at $4,500.   Reel is not included.
