8', 2/2 Model 8014 Built in 1969 and inscribed to Philip R. Wright. There were 103 of the 8014 model rods built and 31 known to exist today. The rod weighs 4.6 oz. Line weight 6. Reverse half wells cork grip with down-locking hardware and walnut insert. Orange silk thread wraps. Blued nickel silver ferrules. Includes original cloth bag and aluminum tube with black plastic cap over brass collar. The condition is very good. This rod is featured in Jeff Hatton's book on pages 294 and 295. The new owner of this rod will receive Jeff Hatton’s Rod Crafting book. In addition to Jeff’s book, the new owner will receive copy of Dickerson's letter to Philip Wright. not available
