7', 2/2 Impregnated Battenkill Serial number 33182 crafted in 1962. Cigar cork grip with down-locking hardware over walnut insert. Blued nickel silver ferrules sizes 11. Project Orvis rod. The 2 tip sections are full length and cane is sound. Some of the guides are rusted and the 2 bottom guides have been re-wrapped with incorrect thread. The ferrules are sound. The butt section has a large repair wrap between the stripping guide and top snake guide. The ferrule fit is loose. The cigar cork grip and walnut insert reel seat are sound. Includes original cloth bag and aluminum tube. This rod would greatly benefit with the removal of the varnish overcoat and removal of the repair wrap on the top of the butt section.
