7', Russ Peak fiberglass spin rod. Premiere model, serial number 12818. This is a 2 piece rod with extra tip. Weighing 4 1/2 oz. Light action. Lures to 1/4 oz. Line 6 to 10 pound test. This rod was custom made for Dr. G. G. Mc Kellar, whose name is inscribed on the shaft. The rod has nickel silver ferrules. Cork grip with bronze anodized up-locking reel seat over cork insert. The fiberglass blanks are dark brown with brown thread wraps. Includes replacement bag and original labeled aluminum tube. This rod is in excellent condition. The rod has a Garcia rubber butt cap which we believe is original since Russ worked with Garcia on blank design and fabrication. Garcia fabricated many of Russ's blanks according to his specifications. Reduced price.
