BF223 Orvis 8'6", 2/2 Impregnated Battenkill, built in 1972 by Ron White. The rod has a cigar grip with a down-locking aluminum reel seat with walnut spacer. The rod is wrapped with chestnut brown thread. It weighs 4 3/4 oz. and will cast an 8 weight line. One tip is 5 inches short. The serial number is 672XX. It has blued nickel silver ferrules and a carbide stripper. The rod includes the original cloth bag and aluminum tube. The condition is very good.
