The grip is rattan wrapped cigar shaped. The cane is darkly flamed. The serrated nickel silver ferrules are wrapped with 6/0 Pearsall's white silk thread tipped with a single strand black ring. The wraps have been finished as transparent in order to show the guide feet, ferrule serrations, and cane. Carbide stripping guide. All splices of this rod are from the same culm of bamboo.
