BF527 Phillipson 8'6",  3/2 Peerless impregnated, weighing 5 1/2 oz., rated for a # 6 line weight. This rod was crafted in the late 1960's or early 1970's. The Perfection hard chrome snakes and carbide stripping guide are wrapped with Nymo Henna nylon thread with yellow spiral. The no rock reel seat has a bronze barrel with gold nut and butt cap anodized aluminum down-locking hardware. Included are an original cloth bag and labeled Phillipson aluminum tube. The condition is excellent plus. The original Gart Bros. price label is still on the reel seat and partial sticker on the tube cap. Gart Brothers was an old Denver chain of sporting good stores which has been purchased by Sports Authority.
