Ferrule patent dates Sept. 3, 1878 and Oct. 25 1917. Perfection tip tops stamped PT. Reverse twist snake guides. Cork grip measures 4 1/4 inches. Gently swelled butt. Original brass capped aluminum tube and cloth bag (missing tag). Red silk wraps with olive green tipping at ferrules and hook keeper wrap. There are a few minor varnish dings. The tube end cap is split (see image). Otherwise this rare little rod is in excellent condition.
