8'6", 3/2 Made for and sold by Edward Vom Hofe. According to Michael Sinclair, who has examined this rod, it is probably a Heddon #20 with an up-graded walnut rel seat. The walnut was usually seen on a #35. Line weight 5. Reverse half wells cork grip. Down-locking over walnut insert. Blued nickel silver ferrules. Thread wraps are maroon with gold tipping. The mid section is 7/8th inch short. Although both tips are full length, there is a missing flat below the tip top and above the first guide on one of them. Otherwise the cane is sound. This rod would benefit from a full restoration.
