FF270 Russ Peak 7', Russ Peak fiberglass spin rod. Premiere model, serial number 12818. This is a 2 piece rod with extra tip. Weighing 4 1/2 oz. Light action. Lures to 1/4 oz. Line 6 to 10 pound test. This rod was custom made for Dr. G. G. Mc Kellar, whose name is inscribed on the shaft. The rod has nickel silver ferrules. Cork grip with bronze anodized up-locking reel seat over cork insert. The fiberglass blanks are dark brown with brown thread wraps. Includes replacement bag and original labeled aluminum tube. This rod is in excellent condition. The rod has a Garcia rubber butt cap which we believe is original since Russ worked with Garcia on blank design and fabrication. Garcia fabricated many of Russ's blanks according to his specifications. $1,095.00

Elk tan blank wrapped with variegated green and black thread, with spiral and white ring. Nickel silver ferrules. Perfection hard chrome plated wire stripping guide and tip top, snake guides and hook keeper. Reverse half wells shaped cork handle, anodized black aluminum down-locking reel seat. FF310 Phillipson 5'6", model P52 bait casting rod. Featured in Phillipson catalogs from 1951 to 1954. Early tubular brown fiberglass (Trevarno) blanks. Hard chrome plated ring guides and tip tops wrapped with green thread with spiral. New spring "snap action" locking reel seat. Offset handle of light weight, smooth streamlined construction. This new offset handle (snap action lock) is easy to use. Just pull out end cap and let it snap back and your reel is locked into position. This rod appears to have never been fished. This rod was crafted between 1952 and 1954. $495.00
