8'6", 3/2 Paramount, high grade angler's model. HDH 5 weight. Perfectly staggered nodes match for color and balance. This rod was crafted by Phillipson between 1946 and 1951. Hammer handle grip. Brown plastic with metal thread locking reel seat to match the natural golden color of the rod. Nickel silver ferrules. Perfection chrome butt guide and tip tops. Wrapped with black and white jasper silk tipped with gold, black and gold. Includes original cloth bag and anodized aluminum tube. Paramount label intact on tube. There are some varnish chips, scuffing on the butt cap. This rod is in good condition. All sections are straight and full length.
