9', 3/2 Ed M. Hunter Approved, crafted by Phillipson, introduced in 1948 and marketed by Dave Cook's Sporting Goods. The rod was named for Ed M. Hunter, Outdoor Editor of The Denver Post. The reel seat is black plastic no rock and the butt cap was stamped with an "asterisk" pattern. The female ferrules do not have Phillipson characteristic rolled welt with chatter marks rather than incised rings. Guides and ferrules are wrapped with black silk. The condition is very good with the exception of a missing flat on one of the tips between the tip top and top guide. Includes Wright & McGill cloth bag and aluminum tube. not available
