Cigar cork grip with glued on plastic thumb rest. Down-locking aluminum hardware over black plastic reel seat with 2 1/2 inch butt extension. Tan wraps. Three stripper guides on butt and one on tip. Original Winston cloth bag and replacement tube. A letter of provenance from Ted's son, Jack Trueblood, will be included with the purchase of this rod. This is the rarest of the Trueblood rods that we are privileged to sell. The condition of this rod is excellent original. In addition to the letter of provenance from Jack Trueblood, the purchaser of this San Francisco Winston rod will receive a copy of Ted's article, written in the early 1950's, for True Magazine about Lew Stoner and the R.
