8', 3/3 Impregnated Battenkill. Serial number 47084 crafted in 1967. Weighing 4 1/2 oz. Line weight 6 (HDG). The rod has a cigar cork grip with a down-locking aluminum reel seat with walnut spacer. Chestnut brown thread wraps. Blued nickel silver ferrules sizes 10 and 16. Carbide stripper guide. Includes original grey cloth bag and labeled aluminum tube. The condition is good with the following exceptions. Although showing no signs of repair, the mid is 1/4 inch short. The rod has 2 original tips and an Orvis replacement tip. Two tips have repair wraps between the ferrule and the bottom guide. This is a fishing rod, not a collectible. SOLD
