6'6", 2/2 Model 96. Serial number 134. This rod weighs 2 1/2 oz. Line weight 3/4. The wraps are brown silk tipped with gold. Blued nickel silver ferrules sizes 10 with ferrule plug. The rod has a Gottlieb agate stripping guide. Down-sliding cap and ring over cedar insert reel seat. We believe this rod dates to approximately 1960. Although original to the rod, the tip tops have 2 different loop sizes. The rod has not been altered. Includes original cloth bag and original labeled brass-capped aluminum tube. The rod is in mint un-fished condition.
